Cypress (now part of Infineon) has recently introduced into the market a new family, Traveo II.The main difference with the previous version is that Traveo family has a single Cortex-R5 processor, while Traveo II family is a dual-CPU with Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M0+ processors.
 
The Cortex-M4 processor is the main CPU designed for a short interrupt response time, high code density, and high 32-bit throughput while maintaining a strict cost and power consumption budget. A secondary Cortex-M0+ based CPU can implement security, safety, and protection features.
As Cypress says: “The Traveo II family is designed for cars of the future”.
 
 
 
For the support of Traveo II family, Algocraft developed a specific programming algorithm (armm011), through serial protocol SWD. The number of supported families from Cypress+Infineon manufacturer with WriteNow! has widen. See PsoC4, F2MC-16FX, 8FX, Traveo I series, Tricore Aurix series, XMC, and the legacy families like PSoc1, XC200, XC800, XE166, further to the support of NOR memories both with SPI serial bus and parallel bus.
