Overview
Based on the proprietary Algocraft WriteNow! Technology, the Write!BEFORE Programming System is a full featured, high-performance, multiple programming system specific for serial memories and microcontrollers. Write!BEFORE supports the concurrent programming of up to eight devices; different device packages can be accommodated through DIP, SDIP, SOIC, PLCC and QFP adapters. Write!BEFORE works in standalone or connected to a host PC (RS-232, USB, LAN), and are provided with easy-to-use software utilities.
The Write!BEFORE hardware has two separate sections: a single, universal base unit, ready to support current and future devices, and a number of device-specific socket adapters.

Socket Adapter
SOCKET ADAPTERS
Socket Adapters are printed circuit boards which connect the programming sites to the base unit. The Socket Adapter (SA) includes the appropriate socket (DIP, SDIP, SOIC, QFP, BGA) and the appropriate electrical connections for programming a specific device.
