A unique feature of our universal programming platform WriteNow! is the ability to update the HW/SW system very easily. This means that all units on the market since the first version introduced over 10 years ago can be updated to the latest software version available on our website.
The software compatibility across all our WriteNow! hardware systems allow for easy duplication of programming lines.
Last week, version 3.09 was officially released, encompassing several updates in both the control environment and project setup, as well as in the programming algorithms.
The main updates introduced in this year include: GUI Project Generator and Programming Algorithm.
GUI Project Generator:
- In the Hardware Settings menu, the coverage of built-in tests has been expanded to include relay barrier and demultiplexer modules. This improvement allows users to verify the full functionality of these modules in addition to the unit itself.
- A new window displays the list of devices covered by the license
- Added a new level of software protection (UI access control) that allows enabling/disabling individual items in the GUI.
- Ability to select multiple files for file transfer from the File Manager menu.
- Improved portability of project/image files. Now, the image file path (where possible) is relative to the project.
- Possibility to create a project without image file creation.
- The “Memory Map Analysis” window can now be opened from the Project Creation Wizard, users can analyze the image file to be programmed, ensuring that all data is consistent with the device’s memory map.
Programming Algorithm: all algorithm revisions are available in the readme.txt file in the installation program directory.

Activities by numbers:
11906 devices in device list (more then 500 new devices in this year), 131 drivers (programming algorithms), 31 different FPGA protocol, more than 60 silicon manufacturers supported and much more…
Conclusion:
Algocraft’s programming algorithms are constantly updated with new features, additional devices, and integrated optimizations to maintain a high-quality standard that sets us apart in the market.
In parallel with the constant support for 8/16/32-bit MCU architectures based on standard programming protocols (SWD, JTAG, UART, SPI, etc.), we are also committed to supporting new programming libraries for programmable devices (e.g., LED drivers, motor control) with automotive interfaces (LIN, CAN, PSI5, etc.). All this is done with a focus on hardware compatibility and total customer support.
