The WriteNow! library now counts 13,000+ devices150+ drivers and 40+ protocols, all running natively on the full WriteNow! hardware family — from today’s production programmers back to systems installed years ago.

What’s new in this WriteNow! v3.14 release

Amiccom A81C31F810 — Added support for the Amiccom A81C31F810, a wireless MCU from the Taiwanese Amiccom, paired with the external GigaDevice GD25LQ20 SPI flash for IoT and short-range RF applications.

STM32 / LPC / Silicon Labs (armm001) — Refined flash write granularity for STMicroelectronics STM32G0 mainstream MCUs and added the new STM32C05x and STM32C09x entry-level Cortex-M0+ series. Coverage also extends to Silicon Labs Tiny Gecko ultra-low-power Cortex-M3 MCUs, with a more reliable algorithm for the Ember EM35x ZigBee SoCs.

Microchip PIC32CZ CA70 / MC70 — Added support for the Microchip PIC32CZ CA70 and MC70, high-performance Arm Cortex-M7 MCUs designed for industrial control, motor drive and functional-safety applications.

Infineon TLE984x — Added Verify and Read-checksum commands over the FastLin protocol for the Infineon TLE984x family, embedded-power automotive MCUs with integrated LIN transceiver.

Infineon Traveo II — CYT4BF / CYT6BJ — Added support for the Infineon CYT4BF and CYT6BJ, members of the Traveo II automotive MCU family used in body, cluster and chassis-control applications.

NXP S32K3x — Introduced the new “Debug key type” mode in the Security options for NXP S32K3x automotive MCUs, providing finer control over secure-debug authentication.

TI CC23x / CC27 — Improved the “Read HSM System Information” command for the Texas Instruments CC23x and CC27 low-power wireless MCUs with hardware security module, used in Bluetooth LE and IoT designs.

Elmos E522.88 — Added support for the Elmos E522.88, a LIN-controlled automotive LED driver for advanced interior and exterior lighting applications.

TDK Micronas HAL302x — Added support for the TDK Micronas HAL302x family, programmable Hall-effect position sensors for automotive and industrial position-sensing.

TDK Micronas HVC5x22D — Added support for the TDK Micronas HVC5x22D embedded motor controllers, used in automotive small-motor actuation such as HVAC flaps and mirror adjustment.

TI AWRL6432 — Added support for the Texas Instruments AWRL6432 single-chip 60 GHz mmWave radar sensor over UART protocol, targeted at low-power automotive and industrial sensing.

ChipON KF32A136IxxSC — Added support for the ChipON KF32A136IxxSC, an Arm Cortex-based general-purpose MCU from the KungFu (KF32) family for industrial and consumer applications.

Renesas M16C/62P — Added support for the Renesas M16C/62P series, 16-bit CISC microcontrollers widely used in industrial control and home-appliance designs.

Giantec GT24xx (I²C EEPROM) — Added support for new Giantec GT24xx I²C serial EEPROMs, broadening coverage of low-cost, high-reliability data-storage devices.

GigaDevice GD25LX128J — Added support for the GigaDevice GD25LX128J, a 128 Mbit Octal SPI NOR flash memory for high-bandwidth code-storage and execute-in-place applications.

NXP MPC5777C — Improved the “Check communication with device” routine for the NXP MPC5777C, a high-performance Power Architecture MCU for automotive powertrain and chassis control.

TI MSP430FR4xxx — Added support for the Texas Instruments MSP430FR4xxx series, ultra-low-power 16-bit FRAM-based MCUs for metering, sensing and battery-powered IoT applications.

TI MSPM0 — Added support for new Texas Instruments MSPM0 entries — MSPM0C1105/06, MSPM0G1518/19 and MSPM0C3518/19 — Arm Cortex-M0+ MCUs for cost-sensitive embedded designs.

Marvell 88Q5050 / 88Q5054 — Added support for the Marvell 88Q5050 and 88Q5054, secure automotive Ethernet switches for in-vehicle networking and zonal-architecture designs.

Nordic nRF54L05 / L10 / L15 — Added support for the Nordic Semiconductor nRF54L05-xxAA, nRF54L10-xxAA and nRF54L15-xxAA, next-generation ultra-low-power wireless SoCs.

Novosense NSUC1602 — Added support for the Novosense NSUC1602, an Arm Cortex-based microcontroller designed for industrial and motor-control applications.

Renesas RA4L1 — Added support for the Renesas RA4L1, ultra-low-power Arm Cortex-M33 MCUs of the RA family targeted at battery-operated and HMI applications.

NXP MC9S12A64 / D64 — Added support for the NXP MC9S12A64 and MC9S12D64, 16-bit HCS12-core MCUs used in automotive body electronics and industrial applications.

NXP S32G3x — Added support for the NXP S32G3x family, high-performance vehicle network processors combining Arm Cortex-A53 and Cortex-M7 cores .

STMicroelectronics STM32WLEx — Added support for the STMicroelectronics STM32WLEx, sub-GHz wireless system-on-chip with integrated LoRa and (G)FSK modems for long-range IoT applications.

STMicroelectronics STM32H52x / STM32H53x — Added support for the STMicroelectronics STM32H52x and STM32H53x, Arm Cortex-M33 high-performance MCUs with advanced cybersecurity for industrial and IoT designs.

Infineon AURIX TriCore — TC489x — Multiple enhancements for the Infineon AURIX TriCore family: higher maximum bitrate, improved DAP communication, new +5 V fast-programming mode and extended timeout for FLASH checksum reads. Added support for the new Infineon TC489x automotive safety MCUs.

Infineon TLD7102-16ES — Added support for the Infineon TLD7102-16ES, a multi-channel automotive LED driver for adaptive matrix-beam and animated lighting systems.

Telink TL3225B / TL3225C — Added support for the Telink TL3225B and TL3225C, low-power multi-protocol wireless SoCs for Bluetooth LE, Zigbee and IoT applications.

TI C2000 F280015x / F28002x / F28003x / F28004x — Added cJTAG protocol support for the Texas Instruments C2000 real-time MCUs (F280015x, F28002x, F28003x, F28004x series), used in digital power conversion and motor control.

Renesas UPD70F321x / R7F701A85 (RH850/F1KM) — Added support for the Renesas UPD70F321x devices and the R7F701A85 (RH850/F1KM) automotive MCU, plus uPD70F321xH coverage over the CSI-HS protocol (V850ES/KF1 series).
