Algocraft Extends WriteNow! and μISP Universal Programming Platform to the NOVOSENSE Automotive MCU+ Driver Family – NSUC1602 and NSUC1610

Algocraft is pleased to announce that its WriteNow! and μISP universal in-system programming platforms now natively support the new Automotive MCU+ Driver family from NOVOSENSE Microelectronics, starting with the NSUC1602 and NSUC1610 devices. With this release, production lines based on these NOVOSENSE smart drivers can adopt Algocraft tools as their end-of-line programming standard, with the same robustness and ease of integration already proven across every other microcontroller family supported by the platform.

Native support for a new Automotive MCU+ Driver family

The NSUC1602 and NSUC1610 belong to NOVOSENSE’s new generation of intelligent drivers, combining an embedded MCU and a dedicated power-driving stage in a single package and targeted at automotive applications. The Algocraft programming solution covers the complete device flow:

  • Communication protocol: SWD (Serial Wire Debug), in compliance with the device manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Programming algorithm: developed using the official NOVOSENSE libraries natively, ensuring full compliance with the programming sequences, timings and flows defined by the chip vendor.
  • Availability: across the full WriteNow! range for multi-site, high-throughput production and μISP for single-site in-line use.

The algorithm has been delivered through close cooperation between Algocraft’s R&D team, our local partner Yantai Chuangyuan Electronics – Algocraft’s reference in the Chinese market – and the application team at NOVOSENSE, which actively supported the development with libraries, documentation and direct engineering feedback throughout integration and qualification hierarchies and more advanced update and protection mechanisms.
